The Spectacular Spinning Songbook made its first appearance in 1986 in Los Angeles during the "Costello Sings Again Tour." In 2011, Elvis Costello and the Imposters set out on The Revolver Tour and, for the first time in 25 years, once again allowed his set-list to be chosen by "The Spectacular Spinning Songbook," a monumental game-show type wheel spun by select fans and featuring songs from his latest critically acclaimed release National Ransom, plus new renditions of hits, rarities and very unexpected covers. This is the complete concert from the 12th May, including special guest appearance from The Bangles.

This film puts the album Back In Black under the spotlight and with the help of those who worked on the record, friends of Bon Scott, AC/ DC biographers and others who were there at the time, discovers how the album was made, how it was received and how it still inspires musicians and fans alike to this day. Featuring rare and classic footage of the group, interviews with Bon Scott and Angus Young, exclusive contributions from friends, colleagues, journalists and biographers, every track from the album reviewed and reappraised by a panel of esteemed experts and plenty more besides. Although it wasn't until after the release of the Back In Black album that AC/DC became global superstars, the era most fondly remembered by fans of this extraordinary band is when Bon Scott was at the helm - between 1974 and 1980. And if there's one album from that time which illustrates best what the mighty 'DC were all about during those years, it has to be Highway To Hell.

In the late 1960s, a group of North London musicians shook traditional English folk music to its roots by fusing it with rock - simultaneously outraging the purists and delighting a new and devoted audience. Through new interviews with the band including Richard Thompson, the film examines how the group survived tragedy when their drummer was killed in a car crash early in their career, followed by the tragic death of lead vocalist Sandy Denny; and how they overcame numerous line-up changes to continually reinvent themselves by discovering and recruiting some of the finest virtuosos in the country.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show - Everything under the sun

The concert was filmed progressively over the 'Best of the Best' tour in the spring of 2016 in Germany but the bulk of the material was filmed in the last week of the tour, playing in many great venues including the famous Festhalle in Frankfurt, a venue that Pink Floyd themselves performed 'Animals'. Fifty years later, and he's still rattlin' the Devil's cage. Charlie Louvin can walk through a crowded mall and not attract attention. But it shouldn't be that way; the humble 83-year-old musician in the cowboy hat and jeans is a true American hero. To start, 50 years ago he and his brother recorded "Satan is Real," an album that shook up the music business. And the life he lived thereafter was pretty radical, too, from his military service to his country to his 61-year marriage to his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry. On Friday, December 3, 2010 at the fooBAR in Nashville, we caught Charlie Louvin on stage, making music for his fans, celebrating the anniversary of that famous album. And we filmed the night for history's sake. This is the tribute he so richly deserves.
